We never found out who this runner was but she loved to lunge! There was not a stretch she didn't attempt.

Being rather headstrong I'd been added to the faster runners and tried to pass off that I knew what I was doing...I did not!

It was more than mildly amusing to see these chaps at 7.30am walking through town but they looked to be struggling later in the race. All credit to them though.

They say that runners as simply tourists in a hurry and whilst my tour of Brighton lasted just a few hours I'll certainly be going back.
